Getting your furniture home
We know getting your new furniture home safely is just as important as crafting it beautifully in the first place. That’s why we’ve partnered with trusted carriers and created a shipping process that’s as thoughtful as our design process. Before you place your order, take a quick look at our shipping details below – we want you to know exactly what to expect when your handcrafted piece makes its journey from our Toronto workshop to your home.
Where We Ship
Right now, we’re shipping all across Canada – from coast to coast! We’re working hard to bring our sustainable furniture to the US soon, so stay tuned if you’re south of the border.
What does Shipping cost?
Here’s the good news: free shipping on orders $800 and above! For our smaller treasures like Bunn bowls and coasters, shipping runs between $25-$35 depending on what you’re ordering and where it’s headed.
How long will it take?
Since every piece is handcrafted just for you, we begin building your furniture only after you place your order. This ensures you’re getting something truly made for your space, not sitting in a warehouse somewhere!
Total time from order to your door: 4-8 weeks
Production time: 4-6 weeks in our Toronto workshop
Shipping time: 7-10 business days (most Canadian cities)
We work hard to get your piece to you as quickly as possible while maintaining our quality standards, but sometimes the handcrafted process takes a little extra time to get everything just right.

Standard Shipping: Covers most Canadian cities in 7-10 business days
Remote areas: A bit longer (we’ll let you know!)
Need it faster? Expedited delivery is available for some items and locations
Local pickup: Available from our Toronto Annex location (Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM)
We’ll calculate exact shipping costs and delivery estimates at checkout based on your postal code.
Important note: Due to furniture size and weight, we can’t deliver to PO boxes – residential and business addresses only.
What to expect
Your furniture arrives 100% ready to use – no assembly required! Simply unpack and enjoy your handcrafted piece immediately. Our team will help load furniture into your vehicle if you choose local pickup.
Staying in touch
Once your order ships, you’ll get a tracking number so you can follow along as your new furniture makes its way home. We love a good delivery day as much as you do! For production updates, just email us at krisette@krisette.com.
If something goes wrong
Life happens – whether it’s unexpected weather, shipping hiccups, or other surprises along the way, your order might experience some delays. We’ll always keep you in the loop and give you realistic delivery estimates so you’re never left wondering where your beautiful new furniture is.
Damaged during shipping? Let us know within 24 hours at krisette@krisette.com with photos and a description. We’ll work with our shipping partners to make it right.Important: Natural wood variations like small knots, grain patterns, or color differences are beautiful characteristics of our reclaimed materials, not defects!
Refund and Returns Policy
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as care kits cannot be accepted for return. Goods that are customized beyond currently listed options on our site (i.e. larger than current sizing, custom, off-site finishes) also cannot be refunded .
Gift cards are also not refundable.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without written confirmation.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Refund Policy
Overview
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within ten business days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customercare@krisette.com.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchange Policy
Overview
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at krisette@krisette.com. We will provide you with instructions for your return.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
To return your product, please e-mail us at customercare@krisette.com for instructions.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
